AV Bassesはジャミロクワイのベーシストであるポール・ターナーが新たに使いだしたとして、大きな注目を浴びたチェコのハイエンドブランドです。
2019年にドイツで行われたGuitar Summitで出会い、その完成度の高さに驚きすぐにオーダーを入れました。

同ブランドはプロベーシストであるAles Vychodilが1990年代にスタートしました。
当時、大手の楽器メーカーが数多くのベースを市場に供給しましたが、彼の要求に応えられるものはありませんでした。
その自らのニーズを満たすために彼は自身の手でカスタムベースの製作を始めます。

2000年代には欧米のブティックブランドのOEM製造をスタートし、その製造技術の高さを世に知らしめます。

彼は先進的なベースの製造も行いますが、今回オーダーしたのはフェンダースタイルに即したモデルです。
このシリーズはKeith Duffy（The Corrs, Maire Brennan）、Paul Turner（Jamiroquai）などの協力を経てさらに完成度が高まりました。
